The parish is, first, a people. Simply stated, it is a people called together by God. It is a people empowered by the Spirit to make increasingly true and obvious their response to God through Christ.
Ministry of Care (For the Sick and Homebound)
Ministers of Care – Visiting the Sick and Homebound
Anyone who are ill, either in the hospital or at home, is asked to have a family member contact the parish office so that a visit can be made by the priest or a Eucharistic minister. The parish wishes to maintain contact with those who are suffering from illness or injury and it is a privilege to be able to bring them Holy Communion or the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. Deacon Rich Valles supervises this program. If you or someone you know needs communion brought to their home, please call the parish office to set up an appointment with Deacon Rich Valles.
Ministry to Oak River Rehab Convalescent Care Facility
Every Friday at 11am, the rosary is prayed with the residents and communion is distributed to the Catholic residents who are able to receive. The Priest is also available to hear confession and offer the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick at any time. Please call to make an appointment.
